I love this series! 😍

Narration is amazing! Storyline is wonderful! Well written, well paced. I was hoping Inar would get a story. Matthew is perfect for him. Hoping the rest of the series gets recorded too.

Rich World Building

A slow burn romance in a world full of magical mystery and deep lore that is constantly unfolding.

Be aware that this book does end on a cliffhanger.

Acceptance and finding home

This was a fantasy romance with interesting characters. A young man impaired by abuse and emotional trauma, finds refuge and acceptance with the most feared member of the barbarian clan. Together, there is healing on both sides, and finally a new realization that love and acceptance can be found and earned.

Favorite One in the Series!!!

I loved this series, far more than I ever expected, and this book was my absolute favorite. The narrators are amazing, but they stood out the most in this one. The stammer in Matthew’s voice, the raw emotion and compassion and yearning between him and his soon-to-be bond mate.. I could not get enough of it!!

Listen to the series in order- it connects beautifully- but spend a little extra time and care with this one. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic!

Stoic, introverted, terse barbarian meets introvert with severe anxiety and some issues with learning, selective mutism and stuttering. Seems like it wouldn’t work, but it really does! This isn’t all squishy ‘feels’, but an honest commitment based on safety and security that turns into more without altering the mc’s personalities.
