So Far so Good

I feel like the first 20 ish chapters of this book could have been the climax for the 3rd book i dont think every stat chapter needs a full gear break down either even though i do enjoy stat recaps but overall enjoyable

Loved the story

I love the story absolutely and the voice actor? Gorgeous voice soft and sweet but can get commanding and fully bring out the potential for this main characters growth as a prince. Only thing that annoys me is all the stat chapters and the crafting chapters can get a bit long and boring i usually end up skipping some of those and then im done with the book and feel upset that there was more of the actual story. I WAS WAITING FOR HIS DAD TO SEND HIM GOLEMS! WHERE R THE MUDMEN!!

Annoying, repetitive system trope

WHY?!? I hate this modern sustem book trope. They all intertwine with the Decent series. They all ask the same questions. YET?!? The creator of those being who created all the systems comes and goes from time and space and across the planes. He Is powerful beyond all and he could easily solve everything and knows the big baddies, but no one seems intelligent enough to ask him about the beings. No one is smart enough to ask him the big questions. It’s so annoying and frustrating, especially with how each are so jagged when they touch…..
Also the dmg and health scale make no dam sense. “This will do 90 levels of dmg”. Wtf is that even supposed to mean? Tad is 3-4X stronger than anyone so his 90 levels of damage or a rando’s 90 levels of damage? Either way it makes no dam sense because is it 90 levels worth of full force punch or kick? Those are two different forces. It’s so arbitrary.

Character Evolution

I love this character driven series! The evolution of Tad has been intriguing and surprising, as well as all the other character developments. The only thing I'm not as fond of is the Stat chapters. I do enjoy finding out how the changes have affected the characters, but I tend to eventually skip through parts of the Stats. This is such a fun story and I can't wait for the next book to be available on Audible.

Quality of character development

Another great series from the author!! Really enjoyed listening to all of them on my work commute.
