Loved this supernatural romance!

I was immediately sucked into this world that’s rich with unique characters. This story is set in a magical/supernatural world in a part of Las Vegas called the Fringes. The story centers around an angel named Celene, that’s hiding from her past while working as a stripper in the Fringes. She has a best friend that’s the bartender/manager at the club, a mysterious patron that likes to flirt and a new guy that all have their sights set on her. Oh but they’re not just any men… the bartender friend is a basilisk shifter, the mystery guy is a sultry, sophisticated vampire and the new guy- well he’s a demon that just happens to be a member of the enclave (the ruling body), but he doesn’t want anyone to know that just yet since they’re not viewed very favorably.

This FMC is a complete badass! She doesn’t need or want anyone to help her or save her even though these guys wish and hope that she will let them in. I honestly love that Celine needs control and order in her life to an almost obsessive level.

These men are perfection. Luca, the bartender/shifter is giving off all of these sexy, bi vibes. Alistair, the vampire, is dominant and sultry. Ciprian, the powerful demon, is lighthearted and hilarious, but also thoughtful and cute.

Book 1 does end on a cliffhanger so you will immediately want to download book 2! And the author really did us dirty with that epilogue because now I need to make sure *redacted* is ok!

I did an immersive read for this, and the audio narrators did an incredible job bringing the characters to life. They each embodies the unique characters and their traits and really transported you into the story.

Paranormal Las Vegas

A stripper angel with mood wings is NOT an FMC I've seen before. Love this premise, the setting, and every one of these guys is smoking hot. Narration is phenomenal and immersive.

Why Choose with Angels & Demons + MM!! 😍😍

OMG Alana Kay did it again!! She got me addicted to another series from her!! I absolutely love her other completed Why Choose paranormal romance trilogy called Lost Legacy and couldn't wait to check this new one out as well! We even get glimpses from the characters of the other series in this one since their worlds are all connected (but you don't need to have read her other series to listen to this one).

Ok so in Darkest Valley, we have a bad@ss angel FMC (who is a dancer in Vegas) and 3 hot men (a basilisk, a vampire & a demon) all fighting for her attention and ready to worship her. Best part is that the men are also flirting with each other and will become boyfriends as well throughout the series!! OMG I can't wait!! So expect ⚔️⚔️⚔️ later in the series. The author also mentioned on social media that we will have more MMCs (I think 2 more) added throughout the series so the harem will get bigger!! Hmm YES PLEASE!! 😍🥵⚔️

Book 1 is all about world building, getting to know the characters and understanding their story plus we have a whole plot full of action moving along nicely with good pacing that keeps you sitting at the edge of your seat. Plus obviously we have some hot spice throughout the book. Perfect balance of plot and spice in my opinion.

Ohhh and I absolutely love how the angel wings of the FMC are like mood wings and always change depending on how she is feeling! It's so funny how it keeps happening at the worse times too!

Book 1 ends on a cliffhanger (nothing too horrible) but book 2 is already available on KU plus the audiobook is coming out in April so I will definitely continue the series. Luckily all 4 books will be out by end on June on Kindle unlimited so we don't have to wait long at all to know what happens next. I'm running to read book 2 and then book 3 is coming out later this week!!! Wohooo!!

🎧 The narration for this book was amazing with FULL CAST narration. However it is dual narration and not duet but honestly the story was so good that it did not bother me. The female narrator Kelsey Navarro Foster is actually amazing and can do such a hot voice for the male characters when it is her POV!! 🥵
