Another great installment, was very sad about how things went with the guy, he’s great

Sadly not first, but second is cool too!

I love this series with my whole heart, still have an hour and a half left but I already know what my rating is for all of this series. I had this on my watch list and I've been waiting for it since I finished the second. The next one can't get here soon enough.

Great new fantasy!

This series has been great and keeps getting better. I love the details of the magic system. The world is familiar but has its own twists. The characters are believable and engaging. I love the way it portrays Liv's disconnect from her peers due to how she ages. As always, the details regarding this like armor and food make it feel lived in and real.

This Is A Hard One For Me

This is a hard one for me as the probable "true romance" of the book is sort of an obvious thing from book one, and it weirds me out. Everything else in the story goes so well from dealing with friendships being affected by age to politics regarding the magic system. The romance though is hard on me, because the MC's mental and physical age is so awkward compared to everyone else, I can't shrug off the feeling the probable endgame romance is so predatory. So I get ick vibes that makes me wish Liv would just go all in on the nice boy as her other options gross me out. I would eve nfeel better if she dated nobody at all. Two of my favorite fantasy book series go that route. Basically, I would give the book full marks if not for this issue.

this one felt a bit short compared to the prior two

overall amazing but the pace felt rushed and I'm a little disappointed with some choices even though I new based on the proir books it would likely go down this way, I feel specific things could have been handle better but I'm excited for the next book which looks like it will be more interesting than this one
