Oh that ending!

The story continues right where Dirty Little Secrets left off. We see the consequences of that ending and we get to see how relationships grow in some ways and crash in others as Bianca and her kings try to build their foundation, both personal and mafia relations, and survive in a cruel world that wouldn’t mind at all if they didn’t. Enter in the horsemen as the crossover between Bolten and Mayfair University really starts off. Both the kings and horsemen are struggling for control of the city against each other and other outside forces. Who will win and who will be casualties along the way?

This series is a favorite of mine so in my humble opinion the plot and story is a great one. KG Reuss gives the narrators some great material to work with. With things like audiobooks certain things are subjective but I am wondering why some of the performances do seem a little flat. Levin, I understand as he tries to come off as an unfeeling booger so his sort of flat delivery feels true to his character. Bianca and Dominic though, I don’t understand why some of the more emotional portions are being delivered a bit flat. Perhaps its to amp up and emphasize what is coming in the future and I am eager to see how they work with what’s coming but I can’t help but feel that there is some potential being missed here.

We pick up where we left off. K.G. Reuss is the Queen of twists, turns, and cliff hangers. All of which you will find in this book. Check your warnings as this is a dark romance. I found myself even more in love with the Kings in this book. The Narrators again did an amazing job of continuing to being the characters to life.

It just keeps getting better

I’m absolutely obsessed with this series and will attempt to patiently wait for the next one to come out on audio. This cast is amazing

Amazing as always!

I swear, every book just gets better and better. Loved seeing the bond between B and her guys continue to grow and the interaction with the Horsemen. So much going on, you never want it to end, to have the ability to be able to immediately find out what's happening next. And the narrators, once again, killed it!! Their character portrayal is absolute chef's kiss. I'm seriously beyond hooked!!

The Greatness Continues➞Story & Narration🎧

K.G. Reuss does it again and takes you on another wild and intense ride with this second book in her amazing “Kings of Bolten” series. This book picks up soon after “Dirty Little Secrets” mind-blow of an ending, and we learn the repercussions of those events, with Bianca and the Kings, Dominic, Vincent and Levin, as well as Fallon, the betrayer and traitor. Bianca is not happy with the turn of events and what Dominic wants her to do to keep her safe from his father, but is anyone really safe from that madman, Dominic included? The drama is non-stop in this book, relationship, family and drama with their rivals. Besides pissing off his father, Hail and the Lords make a power play, a move that makes the Kings enemies of other powerful players. There are never any dull moments in this book, and the clever writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. The relationship with Bianca and her men continues to grow, despite a rift or two. And let’s talk about that ending, or not! I will just say it is an ending leaving you wanting more, or rather needing more! K.G. Reuss, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride, I am looking forward to what comes next.

🎧📚🎧 Another amazing multi-cast production and top-notch audio flawlessly done, with exceptional performances by a perfectly cast line-up of talent: Blair Thatcher Bianca, Joe Arden, Jameson Adams, Liam Dicosimo, Devon Ryder, and Anthony Palmini. They are consistent with their voices, and I love how they own their roles, sounding believable and just as I imagine the characters to sound. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers, and their enthralling performance rivets you to the story while taking it to another level.

The Kings Are Back

We are back with the Kings and their girl, but with even more drama and danger, however, in this installment, she isn’t the sweet, innocent bumble bee we remember. She has evolved more into the wasp she has been adeptly named.

Once again, the full cast gives this story breath and the characters a pulse. Performed in full cast duet by Blair Thatcher, Joe Arden, Jameson Adams, Devon Ryder, Anthony Palmini and Liam Dicosimo, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this lineup. Each narrator brings incredible energy to their characters and it’s easy to fall into the story with them. The book simply plays out in your mind, almost visually.

I felt this go-round took on a darker vibe than before, which I always enjoy and appreciate. We are once again left on a cruel cliffhanger with more questions left unanswered. So again, we wait… sort of patiently, of course, to get the next book in our ears.

KG Reuss books. The narration was top tier with Blair Thatcher, Joe Arden, Jameson Adams, Devon Ryder, Anthony Palmini, Liam DiCosimo it was absolutely amazing. Bianca is one of my favorite FMC and her guys are the best. Couldn't stop listening!
