I'm no so sure about this one.....

I mostly enjoyed it, it's not my favorite and I did not like it as much as the original series by far... I have to tell you I'm not a big female narration fan. Does that make me a female chauvinist?...maybe 😉 But, love to hear the English do narration for anything,female or male doesn't matter to me. This book reminded me a little bit of Kate Atkinson's Life after Life. It didn't wrap around itself quite as much as Kate's work does ( and her writing is amazing in every way), or even some of the original middle falls books.. but I thought it was okay. It'll be interesting to see where this series goes in the next few books. If I'm completely honest, there was a few times I turned it off. I found my mind wandering as the book seemed to meander at times. A lot of details of things that we had already seen. And I found myself not truly caring about any of the characters too much except for the older characters and the Ellen character ironically that we never heard from her again. I thought it was going to be more of a mystery which would have been really neat to see it solve through Time. But we never found out even what happened to her so that was extremely disappointing. I do like the ending more than I thought I would... I'm just left going, eh, next. And I hate that because I usually love the Middle Fall books

Long awaited and much enjoyed story!thank you for the first of hopefully many more to come. I throughly enjoyed this book. Yes the style is a little different from Shawn’s Middle Falls series, but wouldn’t that be expected? Takes place in a different country, written by a woman. I loved it. I loved the characters, the mystery and the narrative. Thank you for this refreshing book and I look forward to more!

Interesting Spinoff

This book is an interesting spinoff to the middle falls time travel series. I look forward to listening to more stories and seeing if they will have repeat characters.

These stories keep me listening. I love that they come to a good ending. They make me think about how I deal with life sometimes.
