Loved it !

The beginning was a bit slow but definitely delivered overall - wonderful enjoyable listen! Excited for Harper’s next book.

Possible Spoilers:
This is a sequel story/series to Harper’s Starfall Point series that covered Shadow House & the family that wrangled ghosts and the magical objects they were attached to.
Now we’ve got the hidden Moonshadow Cove and the three Seaworth sisters who are sea witches. They also see and wrangle ghosts and are catching ghosts escaping from Shadow House. They also have a family legacy of guarding Susan the sea monster-kelpie’s egg, which now hatches.
Cora has her turn of sneaking into town and has the experience of being mowed down by Mimi the dog, and rescued by her owner, Iggy Galinsky.
He rescues her another time from getting darted & gets hauled to Moonshadow Cove to recover, then stay multiple days to protect the Seaworth Sisters. Unfortunately, this leads to exposing cracks in Iggy’s relationship with his sister Petra, then with her marriage to Jeff. Iggy finds out Josh Holt is magic-adjunct like him. Josh is acting liaison between the two covens while his sister Mina is away at college.
Perry breaks down and brings James to the Cove only to be shocked that the egg hatched and the kelpie is near to shore. They all have to help spruce up the Cove for inspection by James’ boss, which they manage to get through. But they get a bigger surprise and major conspiracy at the Red Jasper Society.
Ronconi’s voice is more loud than emotional in this book, but a little better than book 1.
Hamilton does a great job with narration.

Such a great story through out the whole book. Kept me interested and intrigued both in what would happen and thr love story. I highly recommend

l enjoy a good book that keeps the story line moving at a good pace and has real characters. I will be looking for more from this author.

Yet another masterpiece from Ms. Harper. Her books are so well crafted and lead you on a journey that they end too quickly. An Auther for the generations.

I loved everything and hated nothing.. I loved Cora and Iggy and I just can’t wait for the James and Perri story!!

Who Do You Trust

Loved the latest addition to the Shadowfall series. Molly can always be counted on for interesting PR. This time we are following along with the middle sister Cora as she falls in love with the goofy but lovable and loyal Iggy. More enemies are revealed and there’s also a baby sea monster to contend with. I loved it and can’t wait for Peri’s story!

Too short 😭

I’m new to the “comedy in supernatural romance” world (new to romance in general too I guess) and I was not disappointed! Only discovered the genre as it’s known today earlier this year and went through a phase but got fatigued from a lot of it being so similarly too dramatic and/or too mushy both in fantasy and contemporary forms. Needed a break. Then I came across Molly Harper for Audible and thought I’d give it a try while I looked for my next read in another genre. Hahaha I’m so happy I did. The Starfall Point series became my next reads! (Though not this triology since they’re not available in book form/kindle yet.) They’re so funny and cozy to sink into after a long day, with enough “mystery and stakes” to root for the characters.

Moreover, the voice actors are excellent! I recognized the male VA Teddy Hamilton from a bunch of other books and it was sooo fun to hear him in this more comedic role. It made me love him more! And Amanda Ronconi has this natural sardonic tone that cracks me up whenever we encounter the villains. Could really recommend these books on their acting alone!

I loved this one!

I would love to visit Moonshadow Cove and the Seaworth sisters. Cora Seaworth has spent her life living in a magical cottage in Moonshadow Cove along with her two sisters. Protecting the secrets of the Cove, along with being the guardians of a kelpie egg, Cora assumes that that’s all life has in store for her. But life has a way of surprising you when you least expect it, enter the carefree, local baker and charmer Iggy Galinsky.
