another triumph

As with previous installments in this epic adventure, a truly great episode! And satisfying character development.

Progress that's unexpected & not strung along with waste.

Progress without a bunch of loss. Certs victory but like all politicians, slime their way out running. Great series so far!

Get tired of making the hero a idiot

I do get tired of the writing making Will an idiot. They make it as if he learns nothing and is an idiot.

Very immersive, you find yourself waiting for the next shoe to drop..

Really, the narration is top notch with a variety of huge aliens to present. The story is very compelling. Sometimes in these kinds of stories there is overly descriptive views of horrible things, like after a war of savage barbarians destroying their enemies to body parts, description of many types. Ugh, no
Thanks. But there is a reason for that, you will be more satisfied when they finally get justice. Story is very good. As a matter of fact, I bought the sixth one in the series before I had before I finished this one. Good enjoyable characters that you go find yourself caring for. Some comical camaraderie and good team jocularity. You cannot go wrong with this book. Really a joy.
