Outstanding performance

I loved this nod towards an old classic. reads like Big Trouble in Little China meets Army of Darkness.

Couldn’t finish it

I gave it a chance because of the reader as I really enjoy Monster Hunter International readingsz however Nothing in particular stood out, not engaging, no emotions felt. Just not for me.

The last 2 thirds were better but I was close to dropping it. Immature plausibility development I’m thinking, not age but time spent in development perhaps.

the writing style is a bit simple for my taste I enjoy a more integrated dialog into the story. the story on its own has good bones and I can see many hours of listening to these books. narrator best on 1.2 speed

Fun inspired adventure from the move

This was fun. I had just watched Big Trouble, Little China movie when this book released. There were a lot of nods to Jack Burton and the movie. The three characters were well developed and the story was absurd like always but that’s why I read these kinds of books. Read it. It’s a blast.

Great Team

This audiobook was a great team effort and a great nod to a great movie. I look forward to this listening to this series.

The repetitive story line

To me the story was very shallow. There are so many good titles that get released from the JN Chaney world. I do not know what happened here. That is just my viewpoint.
