This didn’t disappoint

I knew Drazen and Taylor story was going to be chef kiss before I finished chapter 1. It had everything my dark romance loving mind wants in a book. Plot, spicy and a sexy man willing to burn the world for their equally impressive woman!!! ❤️

Spicy, Primal, and great Narration

Captured, caught, possessed… that’s a line from the story that also defines my opinions on this book. First of all, Jagger just always knocks it out of the park. I think his writing is different enough that I seek him out whenever possible. Secondly, the storyline was so great. There may have been a bit of predictability know and again, but there were enough surprises that I didn’t mind the predictable parts. The spice was HOT and the cross overs from the other books was so wonderful. Lastly, the narrators were amazing! Walker Williams has always had an amazing Russian/Serbian accent and Emery Erickson was a new listen for me but absolutely delightful!! 5⭐️3.5🌶️

FMC with no backbone

First off all, I have really enjoyed every Jagger Cole book available on Audible until this one.

This FMC is a smart, successful lawyer who has ABSOLUTELY NO backbone. Maybe if there was more of a connection between the MCs it would have been more tolerable, but he was just such a dick all the time to her. After their aggressive primal play….he just left her there , usually witha rude comment every time… after kidnapping her and she was fine with it 🙄 I mean, have your kinks, but also have some self respect.

Even outside of the bedroom…he still choked her, hung her over a balcony, drugged and kidnapped her and never apologized or acknowledged it and she was just fine moving forward with his demands 🙄🙄🙄
