I enjoyed the story for the most part. Loved the female lead and the Irish uncle Killian. The female lead got on my nerves a lot. When she finally came around, I did get into the book. Plenty of spicy scenes 🌶️🥵…. What time Alain explaining how and why things went down the way they did, I felt it got way too complicated and confusing to be honest. I still recommend the book because the love story was good and a general story did have suspense.

The plot is fine, sexy scenes are spicy. I had a hard time listening to the female character decision making - she is really annoying.

The story was awesome, and even though I predicted some parts, there were twists included to keep me going ‘wait, what!?’ The only thing that would have made the narration better would be a duet style reading.

Enemies to lovers then love. What else is there to say. Loved and enjoyed the story, the action and especially the spice. If you enjoy all of the above with a touch of mafia, this book will satisfy all.
