The North American Pack was always meant to be Ember's birthright, but she grew up far away from shifter culture in a sanctuary city for monsters.
Her wolf yearns to scout pack lands and socialize with other wolves, but Ember understands the risks, especially considering female shifters are nearly endangered nowadays.
So, she keeps her distance, even if she has to fight her wolf at every turn...
And that works until Ember's team is called in on a mysterious case for the paranormal council. Their suspect has ties to the North American Pack, and Ember's wolf sees it as a perfect excuse to snoop around the pack lands.
Only big things are happening in the supernatural world, and what happens next, none of them could have guessed.
With her newly claimed mates at her back, will she be able to fix the injustices of the past? Or will everything unravel as quickly as it came together?
Ember's Claim is a standalone with no cliffhanger set in the same world as the A Monstrous World series. You don't need to have listened to those books to enjoy Ember's book.

If you’ve been keeping up, you already know Ember—the wolf shifter daughter of Emerson from The Monster's Den. We saw her growing up in A Monstrous World series, and now it’s her time to shine. We already knew from The Monster's Mate (book 4) that Veryn was her mate, but the addition of Anders and Lorcan was a nice surprise. They weren't quite my Veryn-level hot, but they came close!🔥
Ember was an unapologetic alpha who could (and does) snap necks and melt hearts 💅🐺. She handles her business but also embraces her omega softness. And her mates are not pushovers. They backed her up, kept her grounded, and weren’t afraid to step in when needed. Partnership goals. 🙌
The spice was exactly what you’d expect from Jillian West—steamy and unapologetic. 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Vanessa Moyen and Jarman Day did an excellent job with the audiobook. Jarman especially nailed distinct voices and accents, so you always knew which MMC was speaking.
My only complaint? It was too short. Everything happened so fast and then—boom—done. Even with an epilogue years later, it didn’t feel like enough. Still, it was an easy ⭐⭐⭐⭐ read for me.

I love the duality of Ember not only being a strong as hell alpha but an omega with compassion as well.
As usual Jillian West combines spice, depth and humor into her characters and it’s absolutely fantastic every time. Even though I love it when she writes the darker stuff, this monstrous world she has created has me coming back for more every time 🖤
I’m most looking forward to reading Hazel’s story!
The narrators were so good in this one! This one is dual narrated unlike the 1st generation's audiobooks which made me a little sad 🥹
But it was still such a fun listen regardless.
Yay for the 2nd generation ✨
