Amazing

Amazing listen, good narration, good opening, I want to listen to the next installment in the series, this is a series that has legs

holy monologue

this story has crazy good potential, but gets caught up in soliloquy and internal monologues that will drive you insane. the end of the boss fight will have you ready to throw your phone. ill still buy the next one because the story is that good.

Fantastic first book!

The non stop action and banter hooks you right in, the characters are fun, and a bit towards the end, well, I think I got something in both my eyes. Brilliant performance by Steve Campbell as well, the raw emotion of that scene was brilliant, great variety of voices and accents as well! Can't wait for book 2!

well told

The story doesn't have many surprises as such, but damn is it well told!
I really like the main characters, they all feel believable yet like something from the cast of Hot Fuzz...
I had a blast with the story and Steve Campbells talented performance took it from a solid 4 star audio to what I wish could be 6 stars easy

Buckle Up, Cupcake!

OMG, that was so much fun! I super enjoyed listening to this one. It was a crazy good rollercoaster adventure ride. The story was pretty solid, humorous, and fun! It got all the elements I want in an awesome LitRPG story. The characters were all interesting, charming, and distinct. James is my fave.

Steve Campbell has done a brilliant performance! Definitely, he made my listening experience so much better.

Let's go Book 2!

More Fun than Anticipated for an Apocalypse

I wasn't sure what to expect from this new series, but when I started listening, I couldn't stop. This story is a colorful tale of humans becoming heroes organically and authentically, set amidst a LitRPG genre with vending machines that help your new level (that is familiar from gaming) level up.
This was such a fun book filled with friendship, obstacles, vehicles, fantasy and spells thrown together to survive in what becomes the new world.
This easily has become one of the stories that becomes part of my annual reread list. I cannot wait for your next book.

James the gets annoying

the overall story is good, James takes you out of the story with his antics, especially when the situation requires things to be serious.
