She's the roller derby captain, and her newest rival is her very own teammate.

There are only three things that get under Madeline Maddox's skin: defeat, disorder, and disruption, especially when it comes to her carefully curated life and her roller derby team. Because no one outskates Mad Maddox—that is, until a cocky little jammer blows back into her hometown wreaking havoc into all her plans.

Vera Havik is mayhem; she's chaos, she's everything Madeline despises.

Madeline is set on making their time on the track together a rink-rash-filled nightmare, pushing through Vera's defenses like a bad block. That's when she learns the heavy secret the world-famous jammer is hiding. Everything's off-track now, including their hearts.

The fine line between love and hatred can be crushed, snorted, or injected…

But it can't be ignored.

So I don't often leave reviews on books or bad. Reviews really on anything. But I felt like this book was super rushed, and it felt like it was just a grab to make some sort of lgbtq content.A lot of the scenes just felt like they were thrown together, and there was like a semblance of a connection. But the connection kind of comes out of nowhere, there's not a lot of depth. And I feel like there's not really enough time to get a good sort of conclusion.I was pretty disappointed

It just really wasn't for me, felt very rushed
