Love wasn't something that I ever felt before.

I knew how to love because I loved my Yaya more than life. I knew that I could love because of the baby I had grown within me and now held; I loved her more than I loved myself. As I watched this man sleep peacefully beside me, one arm around me, keeping me close, I knew that I loved him. I knew that I could see forever with him, and I knew that he would kill any and everything moving when it came to protecting me.

Review of Jahquel J's Work

I absolutely love this author and am so happy I came across her books. Jahquel J never disappoints! My only regret is not discovering her sooner.

This particular story is riveting, it grabs you from the very first chapter and keeps you captivated throughout. If you don’t have the greatest attention span, this is the author for you. Her storytelling is engaging, fast-paced, and impossible to put down.

Jahquel always has a good story to tell, and this one is no exception. I also truly enjoyed the characters—they're well-developed and memorable.

Without a doubt, she is one of the best authors I’ve come across in a very long time.

Outstanding Novel

I wish 3 was available because this is torture. I need closure! Why it’s taking Cappadonna so long to get this man???

Ok this series is so good. I love the characters and the writing is nothing short of amazing. I have read the book and listening to them is so much better. Keep them coming.

The story just keep getting better and better. Can’t stop now. I did not expect the reintroduction of certain characters and how they fit into the storyline. And how is Tweety still alive? Kendra! You got what you deserved

I gotta keep going

Cappadonna 2.5 didn’t disappoint. Ace is still a complete pain in the ass—loud, messy, and always stirring the pot, but somehow necessary to the mix. Capri really comes into her own here, finally stepping out of the background and showing growth in a way that makes you root for her. I especially liked Alaia—her presence added a balance that kept the story layered instead of chaotic.

What really stood out, though, was seeing Cappadonna outside of Capone’s shadow. Getting more of his own perspective and personality made the book feel fresh, like peeling back another layer of the family dynamic. It gave me more reasons to appreciate him as more than just an extension of Capone.

The pacing dragged in a couple spots, which kept me from giving it a full 5 stars, but overall this installment delivered—raw, entertaining, and filled with characters you love and hate at the same time.
