Love this Whole Series!

This nerdy little book is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy! I need everyone’s stories. For me romance books tend to be my palette cleanser but this series makes me feral. If you are debating about the book don’t. Just jump in!

Hello Cosplay

This book was so much fun to listen to. I loved Cammie and her spunky brave personality. Chase is HOTT and I enjoyed his and Cammies cosplay roleplay. This book did not get boring and left me wanting more.

Simple but sweet story

Great audio duet performance. Good world building. This book builds off other books and series by this author but it's a standalone and you don't need to read the other books first. This is not a complex story and about young adults begining their 1st year of college. For some this book may feel juvenile, but the writing is pretty good and the actions are realistic. Plus the characters actually talk to solve their problems.

Most conflicts in this book are resolved right away so there is little build up or angst. The MFC and MMC both learn how to be in a relationship and how their different personalities work together. It's a nice romance where the MMC starts to want more than hookups, finally realizes he was caught up in the fame of his status in campus, and was self absorbed but wants to be "a great boyfriend". MFC is a wallflower who doesn't want to live in the shadows or only be know bc of the more popular people in her life. Both grow throughout the story. No 3rd act breakup, no cheating, minimal conflict. A lot of 🌶️. Funny, sweet, and a little high fantasy 🌶️.

The story is simple and both characters do some stupid things, but it feel very appropriate for 1st year college students trying to figure themselves out and how to have a real relationship. I really enjoyed all characters here. I loved seeing MFC stand up for herself and come out of her shell. She learned to ask and be open about how she feels. She allows herself to grow and even pushed herself out of her comfort zone to show support for MMC and for herself. MMC talk with his friends about how he can be better, not just as a boyfriend but also in general.

But Brody is the unsung hero of this friend group. He deserves a fantastic book. Big Dad-of-the-group, emotionally developed, kind-hearted, sees everything and everyone energy from him. Without him MMC would have messed up more with MFC. Can't wait for his book.
