After recovering from her battle with the evolved being, Sam finds she has damaged her body and soul. And to her surprise, she discovers she isn't exactly human and may have an infinite number of siblings! That revelation broached many questions since Sam grew up an orphan on Earth.

Unfortunately, Sam doesn't have time to dwell on what she has done to herself because the church has finally found Nara's whereabouts and immediately attacks the group, only to find out what an angry Pathfinder who only recently ripped an evolved creature apart can do.

Join Sam as she laughs, battles, drinks, and stumbles her way across Hallista in this next installment of the Arcane Pathfinder series. Watch as she handles things her own way, no matter what is thrown at her. Her way may not always be the right way, but it's certainly the most entertaining!

This book features a raid event, a seductive elf, more bandits, a wild night, epic battles, quick battles, lore galore, an ancient succubus, camping, exploring, loot, an ancient dungeon, and, of course, Sam blowing herself up...multiple times!

This book is a fantastic continuation of the first novel. I love the growth in their team and the community building that they do amongst themselves. The writing is much improved in this second installment, but the narration for some reason is actually worse. Pauses were left in the wrong places and emphasis was put on the wrong words pretty frequently. That is the only negative thing I have to say about this one. Otherwise, really loved it! Keep up the amazing work, friend!

Superb continuity

I loved the first two books the system is interesting and the story is great it’s like she’s on a side quest half the time like most rpg’s you play and ignoring the main quest haha so I was excited since it didn’t appear the 3rd book was out yet but I found it and it’s AI voice which basically killed the whole 3rd book everything that was good was removed by the flat tone of the AI voice. So I’ll probably not buy anymore unless they switch back to real narrators might just read it though

Book 2 was great but this might be the last one

Un Believable

I wrote a rather scathing review of book 1 and I still stand by that other than it started improving at the end. That being said it wouldn't be fair not to at least give book 2 a chance so i did. Book 2 was a massive improvement. The narrator found her groove as the book progressed and while the story was still a tad annoying with SAM seeming to make very very slow improvements and questionable decisions the story still progressed slowly. I saw a few things that didn't' change though, with SAM still seemingly being portrayed as a Science Geek that isn't all there vs the Wise independent Lawyer she's supposedly been prior to the integration. The plus side to this though I found is that I like this side better, she's more grounded and she has friends whom make the story even better. While i am critical that isn't to say the Author also didn't make improvements though, I noticed plenty of improvements to the writing as the story went on and I do hope the authors learned form this.
