I've existed only in the shadows.

My only connections were forged through the veil of a computer screen. I was their voice in the dark, their operator. I was their lifeline—until the day my past tore into my present, and they had to become mine.

Captured, subjected to torture and relentless interrogation, I survived long enough for them to find me. I harbor no delusions; fleeing and disappearing again is not an option.

The only way to win is to fight. But to fight, you also have to be willing to risk everything. I was okay with that when the only one at risk was me.

Now, these three formidable men stand shoulder to shoulder, ready to wage war for me. A thief. A mercenary. An assassin. I can't bear the thought of losing them.

I can't.

I won't.

I have only one choice, one path: we take the offensive. We go out together, and we don't let go.

Don't Let Go is book two in the Switchboard Duet and is a full-length dark thriller romance with multiple love interests and a heroine they love but have never seen. This is also a reverse harem novel, meaning the main female character does not have to choose. Of course, it also means the guys have to agree, and well, that's part of the journey.

Narrated in duet style.

Book 2 of the Duet. We pick up with Patch and her guys from Talk To Me (book 1). It’s become second nature to the guys to protect Patch. She’s getting stronger, back to her old self after the trauma of Book 1.

Satisfying ending, no epilogue.

My one complaint was the male voices. The visuals I got from their voices were…a little disappointing. Locke’s voice sounded like flamboyant Andy Serkis, Remmy was ok, kinda made me picture Jason Strattum. And wow, I honestly didn’t know what to think about McQyaid’s voice. It didn’t bring really any visual except maybe a bear, and speaking of bear, I know this complaint isn’t on the narrator but the author…I could not stand his nickname for Patch. Calling a grown woman Sugar Bear was down right irritating.

All this being said, yes it was a satisfying read. A good pallet cleanser. I liked it, probably won’t listen to it again and won’t buy the paperback but it was worth the listen/read.

Good pallet cleanser

Absolutely LOVED this duet so much! It’s action packed, suspenseful, and the characters are amazing! And if you’re not a huge fan of spice, this is the duet for you! Book two has a little but definitely not a lot.
This duet had me hooked from the very first page. And the narrators were absolutely amazing!

“You need dangerous men,” he whispered. “But I am never dangerous to you.”

I didn’t want this series to end— and honestly? I’d be thrilled to see this duet expand into a full series. There’s so much heart, tension, and magic here, it practically begs for more. Daniels and Hartley? They didn’t just narrate—they delivered. Every emotion, every breath, every beat of the story was nailed with precision and passion. This listen was everything I hoped for and more. So, so good. You won’t be disappointed. In fact, you’ll wish there was more.
