It’s Christmastime and everyone is in the holiday spirit at no-kill animal shelter Junebug Farms.
When Junebug sponsors the annual Christmas parade to raise money and awareness for their shelter, the staff have a plan: the king and queen of the parade will spend the holidays filming adorable Christmas vignettes to bring in donations and find forever homes for lovable pups before Santa comes.
What they don’t know is that Mia Sorenson, volunteer dog walker and superior matchmaker, is about to rig the voting so that her granddaughter, Samantha, and Sam’s friend Keegan, win queen and queen of the parade. Sam and Keegan have been dancing around each other for years, and if Mia doesn’t do something, they might never realize they’re meant to be together. Slow burn and focus was off
This story was more about the Grandmother then the couple. Didn’t even get a real intimate scene and even the epilogue was more about the grandmother despite what happened with the couple.
Not saying the story wasn’t good, it’s why I gave it a high review especially if you are into extremely slow burns but if you are into spicy, I’d look elsewhere.

Loved it
I have to admit I love Christmas books, I love dog books and this one was both. I love the relationship between the MC and her grandmother and mother. This was a great book. Narration was good. It is a great Xmas gift

Bring back other narrators
I have really enjoyed the Junebug Farm series. However this one was disappointing…. Not sure if it was the actual story or the narrator’s interpretation. I much prefer Abbey Craden or Lori Prince. I struggled to finish this story.
