Baking for Love <3

This is a great collection of novellas about a grumpy celebrity chef and curvy cooking contestant that fall in love at first sight, despite their age gap and reality tv circumstances they make it through it together with all that heat in the kitchen. Then we see how they move forward after all the chaos of coming out to the public as a couple, like being followed by paparazzi and a reality show plot twist won't get in the way of their happily ever after.

No character development at all

I selected this book because I loved the author’s mountain men trilogy, but this “story” completely lacked any character development. Very disappointing.

...Meh

This just did not appeal to me. It was "cute", but felt corny and repetitious with their s&xual encounters. I think the female character was a bit spoiled for me because the narrator sounded EXACTLY like Rose McIver from the TV Series "Ghosts". So my imagination through her voice took my immediate visual to "Sam's Character" on Ghosts. While I love the show, it was just difficult to not picture her & separate the two characters. I'm quite torn because I already had selected probably 3 other books by the same Author, as they seem highly recommended. Though I desired a change in my regular genre, I sincerely hope for a more detailed and robust story for the others.
