And when Saff's father dies, she finally has the chance she's been waiting for. The chance to escape. But only if she can steal the medication she desperately needs and survive long enough to get to safety.

With both girls fighting their way to stay alive day by day, in a world where every circumstance is against them, they realize that maybe traveling together can help them both get what they need.

But Maddie doesn't know Saff's secret. She doesn't know where she came from—what she was. And Saff will do anything, especially lie, to get the medication she needs.

The absolute last thing she needs is to fall for some smart-ass rich girl who will get in the way of that.

It was great!

Great story and excellent narration! I usually not a big fan of zombie stories, but I saw many good reviews and I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed! Highly recommended.

I absolutely LOVED this one!

I'll admit, I was a bit hesitant at the whole zombie storyline at first. However, I've grown tired of the fake girlfriend or return to hometown & reunite with high school crush scenerios with most lesbian books anymore. Just so predictable. THIS book really kept my interest the entire time! Compelling story, strong main characters you learn to really like & root for, a little sadness at times, suspense, a slow burn love story with plenty of action along the way! I'm more of a review reader than writer, but I HAD to give this one a shout out! And last but not least, let's not forget how amazing Lori Prince is as narrator! Highly recommended this one all the way around!!!!

The Love Story

needed more fighting action for my taste. Good read overall, breaks away from the typical common lesbian fiction books.

Even a year later, I still think about this book.

Most books in this genre are terrible. This is actually worth listening to! Creative and always moving.
