Fish Out of Water: Book Six

The case has a lot of moving parts, and Jackson and Ellery have to work fast to make sure the machinery of the mob doesn’t mow down everyone they care about—or rip them apart.

Together they fight to keep kids out of jail while the streets of Sacramento threaten to explode. I love this series. Jackson and Ellery are up to their eyeballs in trouble again.

Great story. Great narration.
The Fish Out of Water series has become one of my favorites. The romance is lovely. Jackson and Ellery are constantly evolving as individuals and as a couple. The action stops just long enough for a few sweet moments and a little research into the latest case. The social commentary is insightful, and the narration is amazing. Amy Lane's writing is well suited to narration, and Greg Tremblay performance is always enjoyable for me. As long as this series keeps going, I will keep listening, but I really do hope Jackson and Ellery get a breather soon. They deserve a very long vacation away from the action.
