Excellent story with perfect performance

I’ve listened to all but one of Fae Quinn’s books and they continue to both entertain and evoke all the feels. Love their spicy scenes (5/5 chili peppers), both quantity and quality are perfect imo. The story itself is beautiful. I’ve listened/read hundreds of shifter books and yet somehow this doesn’t feel repetitive. Cannot recommend enough if you’re looking for shifter/pnr mm romance.

As far as the narration goes, Liam DiCosimo remains my number one favorite performer. I’ve listened to tons of their books to the point of listening to them solely because their were the narrator. I’ve actually discovered some new authors doing that lol. Alexander Cendese is also great. I’ve listened to a good amount of their books and they are always very well done. Those two make a really wonderful combo.

adorable and heartfelt

Mutt was adorable, such a big, bulky bundle of love and excitement who was perfect for Jeffrey's broken pieces. They put each other back together in the sweetest ways.

I cried I laughed I cried I love this story.

My two favorite readers have made me love this series this is my favorite so far yay!!!

Sweet, Spooky, and Surprisingly Soft

This was a fun addition to the Spooky Boys series. It's equal parts playful and heartfelt. The Jeffrey and Mutt's dynamic caught me off guard in the best way...they’re unexpectedly tender beneath all the chaos, and their connection really shines. The audiobook adds an extra layer of charm. While Alexander Cendese isn’t always my favorite, he absolutely nails Mutt’s energy here, and Liam DiCosimo complements him well. Together, they bring the quirky, lovable weirdness of this world to life.

Perfection!

I was sucked into Elmwood, ME, on a journey, feeling so many feels. I got to catch up with old friends and fall in love with new ones. I was brought to tears several times, which is hard to do to me. I laughed out loud several times, too, and holy smokes, it's hot! Fae did an amazing job of bringing Jeffrey and Mutts longing for one another, their pain, and their joy and love to life. I felt every feeling they were feeling it was emotional and beautiful, and I loved every minute of reading this book. Another spectacular addition to the series. I highly recommend, it's everything and more!

Just reread via audio, and it was even more amazing! Liam Dicosimo and Alexander Cendese were absolute perfection!
