Another good one

This series has kept me hooked, and I admit I am a little sad only one book remains! I definitely will be reading the Treasure Hunters Alliance and Webb’s most recent book, Lightbinder!

The second book in the 2nd series gets you hooked like the original.
Just when you thought you had it all figured out the twists and turns reel you back in with lots of cool mysteries to unravel!

I Just Can’t

The MC never learns or improves. Always falls into the trap, always caught off guard. They want to get strong to stop bad guys. Yet, they always let them go. Then the bad guys always come back. The MC does nothing to stop them beforehand nor do they keep an eye out for them. Every time they are caught off guard, every time they walk directly into the most obvious traps. The main characters are so dumb it is starting to hurt. For example: While on the run, the MC is weak, in hiding, and with very little resources or connections. The bad guys are in a position of authority, have stronger powers and any resources they could need. The bad guys also have a book the MC needs. This book could be a game changer for the MC, so of course there is an intricate plan to get it back, right? WRONG! The MC wrote the bad guy a letter asking for the book back and put down the time and place where the bad guy could hand it over. He even picked an isolated spot at night. Then the MC is all surprised that there is a trap. Because telling the person who wants you dead where you will be and what time you’ll be there tends to do that. This is one example of many but it’s the point I stopped the series.
