Must listen

I hardly write reviews but this series is worth the effort. After 2 years of listening to the same plots in most romantacies, I got pretty tired of the genre. It’s like the genre authors were all reading each others books and the plots and twists never changed, only the amount of spice (and if I wanted to listed to porn, I’d jump on pornhub).
This is a romance…no spice. Though, the heroine wins in the end (as usual), it was a good win..one I smiled at.
Devoured both books in 3 days.

Love, Trust, Sacrifice

This was such a good read. I cried, I laughed and I basked. Althea's journey throughout this duology wasn't an easy one but she persevered through mistakes and heartbreaks. And she had people around her that had her back, even people she never could have imagined.
Almost from the moment she found out about what being a mortal queen meant, she had been determined to find a way out not just for herself but for all the queens that would come before her, no matter the cost. That displayed a strength of character in her. A lot of times we do things just to save ourselves, not caring about anyone else.
All in all, I truly enjoyed this book and the series as a whole. I'll be looking forward to Victoria McCombs next books.

Phenomenal conclusion to the Far Dynasty Duology!

Without spoilers, this book took me on an emotional roller coaster I didn’t know I needed. Victoria’s writing and world building is amazing, and the voice actress for the audiobook is 10/10! If you are thinking about reading this Duology, it it at the top of my list this year!

The story was way more intense, and yet more captivating, though somewhat predictable, it was absolutely worth the read!!
