This Day in Philly Sports History - May 15, 2024

  • Summary

  • Aaron Nola was lights out last night as the Phillies took both games in NY. There have been some leaks but we will know officially what the Eagles schedule will be today. Today's Question of the Day is "What feat would you rather see at an MLB game? No-Hitter, triple play, hit for cylce or 4 HRs"

It's a Family Affair. Today's spotlight is Mychal Kendricks.

On this day in 1999 there was multi-sport doubleheader in South Philly. In game 1 the Sixers moved onto the 2nd round of the playoffs beating the Magic 101-91. Later the Phillies blew a 6 run lead to the Mets - but completed a triple play.
