BWBRSA: online scam

I've been listening to Crown junkie for years, I never miss an episode, I've loved every single episode I've ever listened to, until I got to this one.. this episode sucks, I don't care about scams I'm not here to listen to dumb broads that don't know how to keep a hold of their money or prostitutes who want to pimp themselves out to old men and sugar daddies.. I want to hear about true crime and that's why I'm here to listen to it not this crap

Easy to listen to and comprehend

I love this podcast! The way the girls communicate and how they put together the story in a way where anyone can understand how that certain precinct operates. and a huge shout out to the humbleness of telling the story of the victims. love love love them

Online scams

Literally 4 days after I heard this scam account, my youngest daughter got the same type of phone scam with the sheriff. If the guy hadn’t called her work, she would have hung up. Her workplace called and said “ The Sheriff’s office called here, are you ok?” She then gets a call from him. The only way she figured it out was, she passed a note to the bank teller about the sheriff calling asking for $6700. The bank teller calls the police and asks if there is a warrant for her arrest. They told her it was a scam. The police came and she told the man that the bank teller won’t let her leave with the money. She was SO shaken up by the whole thing.
I really appreciated your description of this scam and you gave tips about all of the scams and how to not fall for them. Each story was so different, and yet all of the scammers were out for their money. I am thankful you changed the format and alerted us about this situation. I told my daughter about your podcast and to be suspicious of everything and everyone. I have sent her your podcast and hopefully she will be a new listener.
