Fun characters, fun story

It was a good story, went quickly. More a YA, but still entertaining. The status reads are a bit tedious. I've listened to Andrea Parsneau before, and enjoyed her narration.

Neat

I boight this book on a whim and found myself thoroughly enjoying it.
I thought the world building and characters were really neat, and the narrator's performance was excellent.

A fun listen!

Besides being voiced by the spectacular Andrea Parsneau, the writing is quick paced, witty, and interesting. It’s a great twist on a formulaic genre. The monsters aren’t the typical orc, goblin, ogre yawn fest but are more animalistic. I like that the story is character and plot driven and not just stat driven. The heroines are also cool because they stay true to their roots. They aren’t just a pair of one-in-a-million over powered little weirdos that suffer but always win. I like that they’re just crafters trying to save their town.

I didn’t know what to expect, but this was an absolutely fantastic read. Definitely worth reading.
