I don't mind playing my role. I'm good at it, and it pays to be the dark to his light. Until the good boy starts to get to me. I'm confused and unsure of what I want, when it was all so clear before.

They say good always wins, but is that truly the case? In the race between the far-too-pretty good boy and the angry bad boy, who will actually win?

Only time will tell.

pretty good.

in the beginning I didnt like their dynamic but as the relationship deepened I really enjoyed them. I loved the way axel chose to come out.

Heartfelt but good

The narration is amazing. It was more heartfelt than I was anticipating but still very good.

Short and sweet

Very much a Heated Rivalry vibe but NASCAR.
At the beginning there is the whole 'why does it have to be this guy?' when they can't keep a way from each other, but it does develop nicely.
Low angst, slightly spicy (🌶🌶.5) with a few intimate moments that are descriptive, but short lived.
A cute enemies to lovers story that highlights why coming out or not is such an impossible choice in this environment - career or love?
There are good side characters that are supportive and add to the story.
All in all an adorable story wrapped up in a fairly small package with a nice HEA.

My first car racing book and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend.

I like the main characters in this book. The side characters were also awesome. I hope to see them in future installments in the series. Then our Raiders were perfect. I highly recommended this book and I’m off myself to find the next in the series.

great story

Nicole Dykes is one of my favorite authors and then she paired this gem with some great narrators. All around 5 ⭐ for this title. I am pretty sure the whole series will be 5 ⭐ worthy. Axel and Sebastian are just so perfect together even after their rough start.
