Great Book

Íi really loved this story and the great world building for future connected stories. Loved!

This was by far one of the best audio books. The narration was phenomenal. The storyline phenomenal. The spice phenomenal.

Good

James Cassidy is what attracted to me to listen to this book. First time Ive listened to him perform and wow, he has an excellent voice.
The story itself was good. Nothing wowed me but it was interesting enough that I wanted to finish the book.

Fantastic Narration, Good Story, Surprising Humor

Loved the character arcs and development of both the FMC and MMC, separately and together. The reactions of the men when Emilia comes into her own, wielding strength, intelligence, and a hunting knife with equal capability (and a bit of glee), are hilarious! Definitely recommend!

Great for those new to Mafia Romance

If you're new to Mafia Romance, this is a light start. I don't know if I would call it a dark romance, maybe a 'colorful' romance. There are only about 2 1/2 sex scenes in it, but pretty spicy and detailed. I liked them. Overall, I enjoyed it and it kept my listening. The beginning and ending could have been sped up a bit. It was far more heavier with emotion and grief than the good smexy stuff... I did have to speed up through the endless chapters of grief. Liked the HEA. Yes, worth a credit if you need an escape.
