Jay Luckrun has many interests: street dancing, anime, action movies, comedy, and dashing across rooftops to the point where his bullies nicknamed him Rooftop Weirdo. After struggling to confront his untouchable high school crush at her seventeenth birthday party, Jay adds another interest to his list—Dungeon Crawling in the face of the apocalypse.

Jay meets a divine creature who chooses him to become a Champion. Someone with a leveling System, stats, skills, access to other dimensions containing dungeons filled with supernatural loot, and magical powers that’ll alter reality as they know it.

Becoming a Champion comes with some issues. Global assassins want Jay and other Champions dead. Monsters are hungering to break out of their dungeons and raze Jay’s world. And Jay’s just one young guy trying to have fun with a Class that gets weirder as he evolves and masters his new gravity powers.

He has a weighed power

I kept laughing the whole book. He was chosen as somethings champion, and now people are after him. Hw has the power to protect himself, and I don't mean his mouth.

it's good

it's as a goods book. the narrator brought a good performance adds well. if anyone say otherwise... there are haters.

awesome

it was funny, kept me interested. Great story can't wait to start the next one..

unique perspective

I must say the voice actor was picked incredibly well. taking on the slang and mannerism of a 1st generation Haitian American. able to make surprising distinction between different characters across different genders, ages, and even background. the voice acting alone would done it for me but the story itself i do see inspiration from similar famous Lit RPG which by no means is a negative. used well in this stories own unique way. comedy is spaced well and not just jumbled in knowing well when to use it. and the jokes land pretty well almost always. I actually caught myself laughing out loud

great archetypes

Overall this book is pretty good too much teenage angst for me. The author does a good job of keeping the reader engaged in the action, if you're looking for a good world building book I would not recommend this one.
