Hillarious

This volume collects the first four adventures starring Bill the Vampire. Bill is a geek who thinks it’s too good to be true when a hot woman picks him up and invites him to a party—and he's right. The hot woman is a vampire and she and the other undead of her coven are playing a little game with their geeky prey which involves turning them and destroying them. Except, Bill is just geeky enough to survive sure death and pick up a legendary vampire power. And he just bluffs his way through one problem after another for all four books. It’s hilarious.

Nothing Bill does ever seems to go right, which is probably part of the secret of why he is such a lovable character. Add to that that despite a desire to be Don Juan, he's actually a nice guy at heart who cares deeply about people. And that is not a trait that makes for a very successful vampire.

Part of Gualtieri's genius is his ability to create wonderful supporting casts who are just as much fun as his main character. And there are some wonderful ones in these four volumes--his two geeky friends, the vampire who turned him, the ancient vampire stuck in a child's body who wants to marry him, and so on. If you're in the mood for a good adventure story that will keep you laughing, give this series a try.

Phenomenal series

I absolutely love the Series! the narration, writing style, plot. Characters and pacing are absolutely perfect. I definitely recommend this book.

Like a gaming session with your buds

I swear some of these characters are actually based on my friends. The sarcastic witty banter and remarks reminds me of the old days gaming and bbqing with my buds. Been a great series so far and I find myself laughing out loud quite a bit. If you have the kind of friends that constantly bust on each other and prank you when they can, this is the book series for you. So many odd situations that are just laugh out loud awkward that at some spots I had to rewind just because I was laughing to hard. Definitely worth the read or listen!!!

I have listened to these first 4 books so many times but I keep getting busy I finally finished them and they are so good

What can I say I wasn’t expecting this!! Bill and company have me dying of laughter. It’s just like being thrust into a corner and all you do is laugh about what’s next
