Emotional

Heartbreaking…. the performers have a very expressive voices making the listener drown with emotions. Excellent writing, excellent performance.

So, so emotional!

Carter’s sister is still a selfish bitch! I have no love for her. I can’t believe the poison she spread! My heart is broken for these two characters. They do deserve a HEA and I’m going to find out now how their story ends.

Another great read

Wasn’t sure what book 2 would bring but I cannot wait to dive into the next one.

Disappointed

Spoiler alert…As book 2 wraps up, I’m disappointed. Kate is manipulative and her mother is out of line. I cannot believe the things that were said to Emilia. Carter is a stand up guy and constantly reassures Emilia. I didn’t understand her constant hesitation throughout the book. It got monotonous. And ultimately her final decision to walk away was disappointing. And also, she never mentioned her desire to study abroad at all during the book, then it became one of her additional reasons to leave. That part did not flow. At this point, I’m debating whether to move on to book 3, as I will probably get frustrated yet again.
