All Raven wants is peace. But in a magical realm plagued by deception, the only thing her world knows is turmoil.

A land where witches wear their spells like tattoos is no place for a woman without a single magical mark—except for Raven, whose unblemished skin contradicts the truth of her power. Surviving under the scowls of her fellow witches has carved indelible scars into her mind over the years—just as the day she watched the Dark King's men murder her grandmother in cold blood.

But the Dark King's reign of terror is far-reaching, and Raven's grandmother won't be the last witch to die under his rule. After the death of a coven leader heralds the start of the infamous Witch Trials, Raven finds herself dodging death to triumph. The journey quickly descends into perils far greater than she'd ever imagined, including a war on her heart from a man she’d only ever known as a villain.

Still, trust is always fragile in kingdoms ruled by magic, especially when love enters the fold. Yet, something else is awry in the land of spells and shadows and Raven must decide whether she trusts her gut or her heart.

The Unmarked Witch is the first gripping book in the seductive and intriguing duology, Unmarked.

From the author of the heart-pounding fantasy series, Fae Rising, comes this new darkly ambitious tale.

I just finished this book and am ready for the next one. There were twists and turns I never expected. Action, love, lust, betrayal every thing a good book needs. I recommend this book 💯. There were spots I cried and others where I was so mad I threw the book. It was a great read

Great book

Good story, a bit disappointed that it ended without finishing. The narrator reads so slow, it made the story feel like it was dragging on because of it.

I really enjoyed the story. Was surprised and perhaps disappointed to discover it runs to a second book.

Loved it.

I loved this book! Once I got into the story I was hooked. Lots of mystery, twists, turns, betrayal and a slow burn romance. I do agree with the other reviews, speeding up the narration to 1.15x changed the whole thing for me and made it much more enjoyable!

Great Story! Speed up Narration

no originalality ...same story i have heard a million times just told byva different author. It includes on niave foolish girl who is easily manipulated put up again a supposedly evil and cruel king who turns into a puppy for her... 😴 boring...

Please re record. She’s awful. 0 inflection. 0 emotion. She’s so dull. She ruins the story.

Awful Narrator

Good story and plot. I really liked everything about it for the most part.

Not my favorite narration. I just felt that it sounded a lot like Siri was reading the book to me and I would’ve liked some more depth. This kept me a little disengage sometimes and took me a lot longer to finish this book than I thought it should’ve. I kept having to rewind because I wasn’t really listening anymore.

I really wanted to like this book. It’s a good book. It’s narrated ok and has an engaging story. My only issue is the regurgitation of the same story over and over and over again. A dark and broken King everyone hates. A young naive girl that gets easily manipulated by literally anything and anyone, who is sheltered and left in the dark of very vital information just because. Don’t forget the girl is special in some way. Here she’s special because she’s powerful and unmarked. Once they meet, there is an instant attraction. Boy is curious about girl because she’s not like other girls and shows girl attention over other girls which makes main girl the Most Hated Girl (throw in the word slut here). Girl hates boy because of something boy did in girls past. Boy is trying to tell girl to not believe anything she hears (aka lies) but girl doesn’t listen. Girl gets herself almost killed over and over again over things that are obvious to everyone except girl and because author makes girl have a hero complex. Boy saves girl over and over again but girl doesn’t accept that. Then comes the “cliffhanger” that you see a mile away.

Not to mention the beginning just dragged on and on. It took hours for the story line to kick in. Then it just became where Raven the main FC becomes overly angry over literally anything. Then the push and pull of FC and MC. Sigh. It’s the same story.

Not Like Other Girls

Great story, narrators, storyline…. Although sometimes it was a tad bit redundant in parts but otherwise I loved it!

OMG where do I even start. The way Miranda writes can really suck you into a world and make you hate when the book is over!

The narrator did a great job at drawing you into the story as well. I did speed up the playback faster then normally and it worked great!

I loved how different this book was for me. The different covens and their experiences. Of course I loved our main character Raven.

If you like an amazing world building, Beautifully written story and witches then make sure you read The Unmarked Witch.
