The best Dispatcher story yet ....

Thank you, John Scalzi, for the absolute best rant I have ever heard about the damage that can be done by people who control so much wealth, so much money that they use it like a weapon, and putting it in a story that could be coming out of today's news. Live long and prosper, John Scalzi.

Excellent until the reveal

“I want 3.14 million”
“You want your payment in pi? Why?”
“It’s a nice round number”
“It’s literally not…”
This was my favorite of the three installments so far.The mystery, crazy twists and turns, growing cast of regulars, and novel premise of violent death returns were all very entertaining. But the end, where Tony explains to the folks whodunnit and why, got very confusing and felt like a too rushed info dump. A minor blip in an otherwise fun novella.

Very Entertaining

I really enjoyed this series, Zachary Quinto’ s narration was great, the plot was unique, the story entertaining, with unique characters (who stayed true to form) just DANG entertaining!

Scalzi blends murder, mystery, and scifi....

The Dispatcher series features a government sanctioned murderer who solves murders. Let that sink in. Then listen to these books!

Yesssss

John Scalzi is freaking awesome and Zachary Quinto is brilliant. This was a great way to end the trilogy. Fast-paced, entertaining, and 100% engrossing. Can't recommend this series enough. Wonderfully imaginative. 5 stars. Will read again!

LOVE this series, this narrator, this book

This series is phenomenal. The ending is so convoluted that I had trouble following it and I STILL loved this book. Yes, the hardcore but morally pure detective is a tired trope. Yes, the morally questionable best friend is a tired trope. Yes, the mysterious and well connected former gangster is a tired trope. I still love this series. well written, dryly humorous and character driven. Spectacular.

Scalzi & Quinto Master Class!

Scalzi & Qionto is absolute skill personified. Just wish it was longer, enjoyed tremendously.

Another great installment in the Dispatcher series

John Scalzi does not disappoint. Even with such a short story, you are drawn in, connect to the characters, become invested in the conflict and are satisfied with a thorough conclusion. Also, well read by Zachary Quinto. He embodies the voice of a dispatcher.

More Dispatcher

Still loving the stories, still loving the narrator. Mr. Quinto is a joy to listen to as you are doing your own thing. Time flies and you are entertained.

This series is excellent. The books are well written, clever, and Quinto is fantastic!
