Mr. Quark is a down-on-his-luck pot smuggler hiding out in the mountains of Columbia with his dog, High Pockets, and a small band of banditos led by the irascible José. Times are lean, and to liven up their exile, José decides to mug a family of American tourists. Among the spoils are physics texts, which launch Mr. Quark on a sidesplitting, boisterous adventure north to California, where he confronts the owner of the books with his own theories.

Keeps your attention for the full 32 min
If you listened to any of the Bobiverse novels, then you already know the level of storytelling to expect from Dennis Taylor. While short, this story is full of the wit and humor we have come to expect, with just a little bit of science thrown in for good measure.

Unexpected
Worth the listen. For time travel nerds, this is the perfect paradox theory explored and quickly. I love Dennis E. Taylor's work and Ray Porter is an excellent narrator.

Perfect
I was on the proverbial edge of my seat for this story! It was so much fun! Also, I thoroughly enjoyed Ray Porter’s narration! He’s always terrific!

A bit hard to follow... but with the 30min run time easy to retry as many times as one needs. This only after my 1st one & will need more. I luv stories with ideas that 'work on multiple levels' / 'require multiple lenses of thought'.

Captured my attention!
This story is conplex yet simple to understand by some. But really, it grabbed my attention and held it throughout the telling. I didn't see some things coming which is the mark of a good story.
