Standoff ridiculous.

Because I don't have the ability to much anymore I was glad when the audible came. I liked it til the standoff. You have wacko with an automatic weapon and you and your partner pass multiple times to shoot him. I have a saying in a standoff, he who shoots first wins. John should have called the officer and warned him. Why writers make the cops stupid to create drama.

Excellent Series

I've been reading this series back to back.. They are well written. captivating and there is always an unexpected twist.
