An Old Fashioned Dinosaur Adventure

This was a great listen. It definitely draws inspiration from some of the dinosaur classics ( Land That Time Forgot, Valley of Gwangi, Lost World and several others), it's even dedicated to Michael Crichton. With that said, it manages to be its own unique thing with a pretty straight forward story.

A simple story is good thing here because it allows for the characters to be well rounded and developed, and there sure are a lot of characters. Praise to the author and also to the performer for making sure every character has a distinct and interesting voice. This makes for some very impactful moments when it comes time for some of our boys that we get to know bite the dust.

It's also a decent war story, it hits all the right notes of soldiers struggles with having to go out and serve for their country.

I enjoyed it

This was a pretty good read. A combination of Jurassic Park, Predator, and Dino crisis. I'm very glad I took the recommendation from DangerVille! I'm very much hopping the rest of the series is to be released in audiobook, I'd buy it and listen to it!

Primitive War: Worth Your Time

Dinosaurs eating humans in the Vietnam war. You may think the premise is too silly to make a good story, but you may be pleasantly surprised if you take the time to read it. It's very realistic in its portrayal of mental illness, how the government would respond to a situation like this, the dinosaurs themselves, and war, The characters are deep, the dinosaurs are awesome, just listen to it. if I had to critique one thing it's that the excuse for dinosaurs being in Vietnam is very lame. Other than that, I heavily enjoyed this book and I cannot wait for the audiobooks of primitive war 2 and primitive war dispatches.

I love this story!!!
Dinosaurs and the Vietnam War is a great combination and guess what… there’s going to be a movie adaptation of it!!!!
Great narration overall too
I personally think it would be better with music and sound effects though
