Good monster story, decent bad people story

To be honest, I thought the book ran rather long in several places.But when I got to the end , I understood it. and the end.\nIng tide everything together

No bad but reuses old stuff

While I enjoy his work he has reused a lot of the same stuff from his older works mainly character is a drunk with a tragic event from their past and the supporting character is usually a future love interest or an ex before they get back together by the end of the book it’s an ok book just wish I would change it up more.
