Warrior of My Own

Kaitlyn and the Highlander, Book 3

By: Diana Knightley

Narrated by: Keira Stevens

My husband pushed back his chair and dropped to his knees in front of me. His head bowed — he spoke in a stream like a prayer.

“I die when I am in the past, how dost ye know when tae declare me dead? You could decide it, call me dead, and I canna blame ye for it. Because I am. But I daena want tae be, I want tae live — with ye.” — Magnus 1702

There are things left undone. Magnus must go home and Kaitlyn must go with him.

Because it’s not enough for her to guide from afar. He needs her voice in his ear. They know now they are stronger together.

He raised his eyes to mine and for a second time stood still. My mind said breathlessly, “Yes.” And I swore I could hear him say, inside my head, deep and resonating, “Aye.” — Kaitlyn 2018

But Magnus learns there are cruel limits to his protection.

Kaitlyn learns how dangerous it is to be responsible for a family.

And together they learn that they have been at the mercy of someone far more brutal than they imagined.

A contemporary romance with way more 18th century history and a bit more SciFi, Warrior of My Own is the third book in the Kaitlyn and the Highlander series.

If you love mysterious, sexy, hunky heroes with desperate hearts and romantic thoughts, heroines with courage who are also very ordinary disasters, and love stories that encompass all time, then you’ll love this romantic series.

Love continues

Great series. Narrator makes it easy to understand who is who will listen to the next book

Warrior of my own

Poignant and beautiful! Unbelievable!wonderful and exciting. Keeps me rivited on the story as it unfolds .

Sexy, sweet, and full of surprises

Can’t wait for my next credit to hear the next book. I want to know what happens next.

It's getting better

The story is definitely getting better. I found myself with my earbuds in every minute I got. I got addicted to the series.
So many things happened again. Magnus's mother showed up too and I didn't think about her too kindly. She behaved pretty maliciously. A few questions were ansvered by her but I'm sure there's more to it as she tended to behave very selfishly thus far, seeking only her own gain. Kaitlyn and Magnus's lives are not full of happiness, they have tragedies and difficulties to fight. I'm really interested where this adventure brings them next.

Once again, I loved Keira Stevens's narration. She did the accents and different characters' voices perfectly.

Utterly Addictive

I really need a Magnus in my life;) but can he come without the mother. I really enjoy time travel romances and this has definitely become a front runner for me. We get a real glimpse of their life in this one and I’m still captivated and can’t wait for more.
