Publisher's summary

The Russian Mercenary known as Boris has always been a conundrum for governments the world over. His visage never changes, his capabilities never understood.

The Russian government gets word he has been killed on a mercenary mission in America, allowing agents to come in and attack the villages Boris has been protecting. Using a fanatical military sub-group in the Russian military, the atrocities start.

The only problem? Boris isn't dead, and now he has help.

Boris won't allow his people to go unprotected, and now the Queen Bitch herself has accepted his oath of fealty.

Russia doesn't have a clue what they have started when this Bear comes back from the Dead.

Please note, there is flagrantly foul language in these novels. The main character does not have a problem with cussing, just uninspired cussing.

Progression

listening to all 4 books in sequence, I could hear the progress of the quality of the writing. Kudos to Paul on his growth as a writer. I loved the progression from Boris to Olaf as strong central characters. I look forward to future stories of Olaf
Jay Martinez

Excellent addition to the universe

I loved how this filled Boris out as a character and how it added depth to him and the universe between Bethany-Ann's departure and Michael's return. I'm going to have to restart the entire series over again as it has been a few years since i read it in its entirety. Back into the fray i go.

Sorry

I just did not like some of the pronunciations. They distracted from the listening...but it's a good story.

Good spin-off series

Thoroughly enjoyed this set. Boris is a great character, with a sense of honor and loyalty. Loved the story and the characters were developed well. I have listened to it twice and I am sure I will again once I finish more of the Bethany Ann books. It is nice when you can escape in a books for a while, we all need a break from real life, even if for a short time.

The only thing wrong with this book is it’s over

By that I sincerely hope it’s not the end of the series are the characters I simply made this book is over I have truly enjoyed this series in the south are both of them though I have to admit I like this series a little better because there’s a little bit less cussing lol to the authors I hope your house lives it easier and you have all the happiness in the world God bless

Can't catch a break.

I love the Kurtherian Gambit universe to death. I think it will be the death of me. I just cant seem to catch up. Ive got god knows how many titless already, but every time I turn around, a new series has popped up. I'm starting to be glad for the long turn around times for other series I love, because in between their releases i can burn through ten or twenty kurtherian books. Yes, i go through that many, four or five a week usually.

good series

The tone shift in the fourth book was enjoyable to me. It was a nice change of perspective.
