Publisher's summary

It's out there, it's always been out there - just no one believed it.

Governments, black ops, rich businessmen.... All want alien tech, and some are going to great lengths, illegal lengths, to procure it.

Someone went so far as to endanger a young girls family. A young girl who wrote a letter to the Queen Bitch. Now, those that are searching for the technology will have to deal with TQB.

If there is one thing that will get Bethany Anne's attention... it's mistreating the defenseless.

Bethany Anne tries to stay out of the world's business, but they just keep doing stupid stuff....

Sucks to be them.

Advances the series but not much of a story

I realize these books are more like a serialized novel than standalone books. Still, I would like to have some kind of a story that reaches a conclusion at the end of the book. This book advances the overall series but doesn't have a satisfying storyline. Emily does a pretty good job again but it bugs me when a word is mispronounced.

A good continuation

Would you consider the audio edition of My Ride Is a Bitch to be better than the print version?

The whole storyline is good I love it but the whole military culture of it is starting to get on my nerves.

Nothing new

This one was just a bunch of little encounters. No big enemy. Pretty much leaves us in the same spot as at the end of the last book.

Action, Action, Action!!!

Book 13 is packed full of action on multiple fronts. A new threat emerges with alien like technology; a discovery of an ancient race; and greedy humans spark action from TQB. Also, it seems TQB may have a leak with some of the information shared with hostiles. My only disappointment is that 7 hours went by way to fast listening to the story and now I have to wait another month for book 14. The narrator did a great job!

Truly Space-based!

I love this series!!! Anderle is a genius!!! And Emily Beresford is Bethany Anne!!!

So the overlaying aspect of this book I feel is getting TQB and it’s people into space and able to be self sufficient. So they won’t be beholden or able to be extorted by those on Earth for the basic necessities for living.

We have a new player in the game called M12 which was surprising and entertaining! We have the three old dudes that our favorite Ranger is getting ever closer. We get another adventure with Terry Henry, Melissa and Robert going for one of my favorite conspiracies/urban legend found with Nazis in the DEEP south land of white!
And we get Bethany Anne’s new favorite ride breaking up a “scuffle” with the newest player in the game and Americans! Bethany Anne FTW!

Man I love going back through this series, especially experiencing for the first time on audiobook with THE Emily Beresford! Who I can’t picture Bethany Anne with any other voice! Plus, Emily mentions how she has so many voices for the various roles/characters in this series. Pretty sure Emily is my favorite female narrator… period!

Great book

I feel really bad that I have not put reviews for the last several books. I have been listening to them as I have been driving between NC and WI and always seem to finish a book while between stops. The books are so good that I get totally engrossed in them and almost ran out of gas twice on my trip there and back. I loved the challenges in this book and the interplay with Tabitha through out the book. I also thoroughly enjoyed listening to Emily bring so many characters to life. Well done to all involved in getting the books out for our enjoyment.

I love fast rides!

Gotta love when your ride seriously outclasses anything else available in your solar system. My second time listening and it's still a great story.

The New ship kicks a$$.

It is getting harder and harder to keep alien tech from the AssHats. TAB is going to have to get creative in it's activities to help keep the Earth safe. A new person, T H is helping in that action.

I love this series

The story keeps going to where Mr. Anderle take us. I like the story. And the job that Ms. Beresford is doing keeps me hooked. Thank you.

Australians really don't sound like that..!!!

I've listened to all the books up to this point but the rest are unavailable to me so this is it. Obviously then, I found the story line interesting enough, if often corny, to stay with it. My only real criticism is the narrator's attempts at Australian accents in several of the books. I've been an Audible member for years and I've yet to listen to one narrator who can do even a passable attempt at an Australian accent. Ms Beresford does a pretty good job for most of the books, varying the voices so you can identify a multitude of characters, but unfortunately, like all Audible narrators I've heard to-date, just can't do an Australian accent such as it is. Unfortunately, the "Australians" sound like a cross between a British Cockney with a severe nasal problem and a New Zealander with influenza! It is totally unrecognisable as "Australian". For the most part, the average educated Australian doesn't have a broad accent and can best be characterised by the choice of common or colloquial phrases (eg. "what the bloody helll are you doing?") rather than by some nasal impediment (I might make an exception for some Australian sports stars..). Seriously Audible, just hire an Australian to do those parts - it's getting pretty insulting listening to this over and over.
At the end of each book, the narrator and the author make comments about their take on the story. I did not like this at all. I enjoy a story for itself - getting involved in the fantasy world - and I found these commentaries detracted from that. I suppose you might like this if you are in a book club discussing the book, but it didn't do anything for me.

Aliens and Nazis

Another great serving from Michael. It is sad that the awful things the people in power do, doesn’t surprise me anymore. Bethany Ann stays true to herself and her people.

Brilliant

Another great narration from one of my favourite science fiction book series. Can't wait for the next.
