Short and Sweet.

Contains some useful info that I plan to use in the classroom. Nice narration and a fast listen.

Good strategy with one thing missing

I enjoyed listening to this book. The classroom management plan he lays out is doable and the techniques for teachers to control their own selves seem important but not often thought of.
My only question after reading is how to handle students who become aggressive, continue the misbehavior in timeout or push back really badly when you ask them to do timeout.
Overall a good book though.

Definitely a great book to prepare a 1st year teacher! I love that he gives concrete examples of the "do's and don'ts!"
