In the aftermath of a deadly alien invasion, a spy and a soldier find themselves locked in an alien cage and told...mate or die.

A covert mission gone horribly wrong. Cool, composed spy, Devlin Gray is used to bad situations, but locked in the bowels of an alien facility with tough, sexy soldier Taylor and told to mate is bad. Very bad. During his career, he's had to lie and kill, he's been betrayed, and he knows he works best on his own. Now he is forced to depend on Taylor, and together they have to find a way to escape before it's too late...

Taylor Cates has already been to hell once before. She lives to fight for others, just like her mother once fought for her, and Taylor vows to do whatever it takes to escape the aliens. As she works with the sexy, suave Devlin, she starts to see glimpses of the man beneath the cool exterior. An exterior she soon finds she wants to melt.

In the worst of circumstances, a passion is born. But on the run for their lives, Devlin and Taylor soon discover far worse things in the alien facility: human prisoners and a weapon that could be the very downfall of the human race. A weapon that will threaten their friends, their home, and everything they hold dear.

I'm such a big fan of this series and i've been waiting for Devlin to have his own book! I was super excited to find out he'd be paired up with Taylor. Absolutely loved the characters, and performance done by JK and SC was executed very well! Anna Hackett delivers another wonderful action packed romance. One of my FAVS!

Another HIT!!!

This is Super spy MI 6 British Devlin and squad 9 solider Taylor. Both have baggage from their pasts but see something in one another that draws them in and keeps them there. Thrown together in and in enemy hands they work as one to escape and get back to the Enclave. As they work together their respect and admiration grow. And as those emotions grow so does trust and love. Fabulous story. Samantha Cook and Jeffrey Kafer do an excellent t job bring the story and characters to life. They bring depth and emotion to the story. The British accents need work but other than that awesome. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

This was a nice story, the whole getting captured thing was a bit different. I like this series but like others, it was starting to drag down for me. The good guys struggle, loose some more people, face unbelievable odds, then come through and kick bad guy butt. This story introduces another new weapon the aliens just introduced which seems to be the new normal for each story. I'm hoping these move along to other story lines soon. Again, Love Jeffrey Kafter but not so much Samantha. She just feels like she's reading with raised voice and pauses where Jeffrey Kafer feels more like an actor than a reader. Don't like Samantha's male voice, it's just weird and doesn't do it for me.

Nice Story

Devlin and Taylor have been caught, caged, and ordered to mate. Finding a way out of their situation is not easy, but the information they can provide is vital to the chances of survival for the remaining humans on earth.

Love the dynamic between the standoffish spy Devlin and squad 9 soldier Taylor. Well worth the read and the continuation of this series!

I've said it before and will say it again, I love this series! Devlin and Taylor burn up the pages with chemistry and there's plenty of action to keep the pages turning. With each book the world this is set in is enhanced, made a bit more complex and leaves the reader looking for the next up.
