What a time-twister!

I believe this story has more time-hopping than any other book I have listened to/read. That is a good thing. Very interesting story. The main character repeatedly broke the main no-no of time travel, but it all turned out o.k. in the end. I highly recommend this book. Now for the obligatory: "I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review."

Time travel anyone?

Really great book. Lots of time jumping but still very easy to follow. Ready for more of the science behind things to be revealed. My niche is time travel, SHTF, zombie and post apocalyptic books. This may end up falling in to more than one of those categories. Can’t wait for book two.
Narration by Johnny Mack was excellent.

A good time travel story

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

An excellent time travel story. I thought the narration was good and the story was well paced, if a bit slow at first. I would definitely have interest in the next book in the series.

A visionary story regarding time travel.

I absolutely loved this book.

A sci-fi in which a scientist discovers how to travel through time without the risk of seeing himself, just using his brain, and just change events in alternate realities that will modify the future of humanity and his own life.

Characters are perfectly rounded -main and side ones-. Jim, our MC, is the only person that knows how to travel back and forth in time and the theory presented is not that far from what could be, meaning I felt James Pinard is a visionary as Asimov was in his day (I'm, of course, not pretending to compare anyone to the latter).

The narrator was incredible and made listening much easier finding a different voice for the samee character according to the age they'd be at a specific point in time. Intentions were clear and characters believable.

If you like sci-fi and the idea of time travel, I highly recommend this book.

I'll be starting the second part this month because I cannot wait to find out what happens next!

A different spin on the classic time travel story.

What if you could travel back and forth through time from inside your mind? James Creed is confused and surprised to discover that he can do exactly that. His first journey sends him back to the 1980s, even though he's clueless as to how and why this is happening to him. James' son, a traveler himself, soon comes to his father's aid. James is still gaining control of his ability when he learns about a dangerous man who has deadly intentions. Will James harness his power before time runs out?

Land of the Living started off a little slow, but the pace picked up as details were revealed and the story progressed. The ending felt appropriate, and laid the foundation for a future installment. Narration by Johnny Mack breathed life into Pinard's unique and original story. While the writing itself has room for improvement, I was entertained well enough to continue the series as it becomes available.

Gets better and better...

This story that started out as so-so became more and more interesting as the pages turned. Our protagonist James Creed finds he has become a time traveler. From his life in 2015 he awakens back in his previous life of 1985 to save his high school sweetheart Sarah, who had died in an auto accident. The story continues as Jim slowly pieces together what is happening to him. He meets his son and daughter from the future who both have come back in time to help their father. The twists and turns from 2015, 2013, 1985, and stops in-between keep the excitement and interest growing. Government groups with both good and bad intentions come into play and there are a couple other key players whom you will meet. The desire to find out what happens to Jim and Sarah will follow you to the end. This is the first book of a series and I will definitely look for book two. Love these time travel genre books.

Interesting twist, time travel (kind of the Butterfly effect "mind" type)..but with an with an alternate reality twist and he's not the only one who is doing the "traveling" (it runs in the family). Smooth narration, a good listen.

Time travel is it possible

How nice it would be to be able to time travel but not in your body but your mind to a time or period in history and be able to change things or someone and see how it change the future. The story here was very interesting and in way at first to follow as the story is told all the pieces start to fall in place and in your mind eyes you can see the story unfold and start to tell a story of a man who can travel into any period with his mind and take control of a person to make changes for personal and hopefully for the world he lives in be able to relive his life and be with old friends and family who had passed away and in someway have a second chance in life.
This is very well told and the narrator did an awesome job in telling the story and bringing the characters come alive.
And I will recommend you add it to your reading list I feel you enjoy it as much as i.
