Narration is a hurdle but content is worth it

The narrator has a pleasant voice but throughout the book altered it when quoting others. It was like story-time at preschool. It was cringe-worthy to hear him speaking as a woman or small child, and a bit insulting. It would be a much better read.

Great book, bad narration

I loved the book but didn't care for the narrator. The voice changing was goofy to me and I found it distracting from the story.

Definitely recommend

The stories are though provoking! Makes me more excited for Heaven. Narrator was a challenge to me.

I loved this book. I've had an NDE and this went far beyond that. Wow

Distracting Narrator, Interesting Subject

I've always been interested in near-death experiences and I saw this book at Hobby Lobby and decided to get the audio version.

It was a very interesting book and I found much of it inspiring. I do wish the author didn't feel the need to try to prove that heaven exists and that Christianity is the only path. As a Christian myself, I would have preferred to just listen to people's NDEs and not have the author try to use NDEs to promote a specific agenda. But I get that the author does have an agenda and it is his right to promote it as he sees fit.

The narrator is talented and if he were reading a fiction story I think all the voice changes might be appropriate but for this particular book they felt more distracting than supplemental.

The NDEs themselves were interesting to listen to, although I wish there had been more of them and less of the author's commentary and use of scriptural evidence.

Overall well done - recommend

Overall enjoyed the book. I didn’t like the narrator, the alternate voices were distracting and not well done. I’m a believer in NDE’s and had my own beyond the veil communications. I don’t agree with some of the interpretations, nor theological doctrine presented, so know this is one man’s view - not general Christian interpretations - especially if you listen and aren’t Christian.

Narration

The narration of the womens’s and children’s voices needs work.
It would’ve been far better for a real woman to do both the women and the child voices. Otherwise the narration was good.

Filled with Hope

I am a follower of Jesus. I still question if life ends and goes no further. These interviews with people of many backgrounds, religions, lack of religion who have died and seen many, many similar things have me filled with so much Hope! It made me so excited! I also have loved ones who do not follow God. It makes me hopeful for their salvation too! I highly recommend this book! I will be buying paper copies and giving as gifts as that what it was to me when a friend recommended it. A TRUE GIFT!

An honest look at Life after death

Truth is established on the testimony of two or three witnesses. We have many witnesses here from all over the world saying the same things about what they experienced while their physical body was dead, though from different perspectives and with different words. It is honest, intellectually to believe God is who He says He is, which is pure love. To refuse God's offer of salvation because you are not willing to let go of the sin you enjoy so much, and kingship of your own life, will guarantee for you an eternity without the God who created you out of love and give you eternity with the god of this world, Satan, who hates love. Please read and enjoy this book, then just ask your Creater to save you too! He will do it! And you will actually know it without any doubt! My wife and I love this book. We have read the book and listened to the audio version every time we want to visit heaven!

The book was excellent I listened to it twice.

The book helped me to better understand God's promise for my life and heaven. The Narrator really wasn't great. I didn't like the many different voices he attempted. However still a phenomenal book to experience.
