I have always loved and cherished the dune universe since reading dune for the first time. Is wonderful to have a bit more insight into the people, events, and forces that shaped it

Slow

I struggled to finish this slow story, not a bad story just long and slow

Primer for the uninitiated , filler for the rest

Having only watched the movie and never read any of the books, I figured this would be a good start I was not disappointed until I found out this was the third in a series and now I have to wait a month the listen to the other two.

Another masterpiece by the authors. I can’t wait to download the next book in the series so I know what is going to happen next.

story was great

I definitely liked the story. I wish the characters were a little less petty and quick to revenge. I got sick of Manford and whatshisface from the shipping company. So petty. My biggest complaint is that they did not divide the book up into chapters. It's the intro, then the book, and then the end. So I could not skip around in the chapters. If you lost your place, you were just SOL.
