Megan Fontaine has been on the run for the last 18 years, hiding from a crazed Lycan alpha obsessed with possessing her. Now that her unsuspecting daughter, Caitlyn, is nearing her first Blue Moon as a Lycan, however, she decides to return to Pine River, Minnesota, reunite with her mother, and face the demons that have been haunting her for the past 18 years.

Torin Rylan's mission was to locate Megan Fontaine for a bounty that would help pay his hefty gambling debt. But after an unsuspecting encounter in the woods with the female Lycan, he finds himself wanting to undermine his employer and claim the red-haired beauty for himself.

the ending should go more in to it but im looking for book 2 yes

Ended too quickly

I'm assuming there will be a book to follow this one. I kind of felt it didn't get wrapped up in a neat little package. The overall story was great. There was a lot of action and it moved fairly quickly. The narrator was okay. It wasn't too hard to follow. I was confused between Meredith and Megan. Trying to get mother and daughter distinguished. The Irish accent was pretty good.

The story ends with to much still up in the air.
Does Much make it through the change?
Is Brice alive or dead?
And does her daughter make it through the change?

The Action Doesn't Quit!

This is a spinoff from Kristen Middleton Night Roamers series. Lycan Megan has been running for over a decade from an egotistical Lycan whore. She fears for the life of her daughter Caitlyn. After a premonition of sorts she goes back to Minnesota and faces the man who she fears.

As always with Kristen Middleton this story is exciting and filled with action. Megan is put in a situation where she has to rescue her daughter and mother. She enlists the help of the sexy Lycan Turin. There is an immediate attraction between them and the story gets a little steamy.

Maren McGuire narrates the story. Her voice matched the story as it made Megan’s character pop for me. If I have any complaint is that the story is too short. For readers of fantastic supernatural stories this is a fun one.
