The Author's management style is refreshing because he offers a very personal, no holds barred look at the process of starting a company, building it up, saving it from failure and eventually selling it for 1.6 Billion. The most useful information he wrote about concerned laying people off, "the right way". I wish all books on management where this honest and concise. I highly recommend it.

great books for every entrepreneur and CEO

having red many business books I wasn't sure that I was really up for another one. After having this book recommended by several people I finally decided to read it and I'm really glad that I did. The story and the way the story is discussed is easy to follow and easy to relate to for anyone that has been a CEO. One of the better better business books that I have read.

Ditch Hip Hop references

Insightful, practical and grounded in experience. Tim, you do not have the melanin to be quoting rappers and appropriating black vernacular. Great book, but made me cringe between chapters.
