Spicy and fun… but…heavy on the sacrilege and blaspheme.
Always love Shane East narrating. His voice is what made this better otherwise my rating would be lower.

Love this whole series. Yes, the story lines are not representative of real life - at least not MY real life since I'm still waiting on my super hot billionaire to literally sweep me off my feet and rock my world - but the stories are highly entertaining and bring you in quickly.

This particular storyline (no spoilers here) was H.O.T. As a lapsed Catholic this story line just hit differently (in all the good ways). Also appreciated the different perspectives of the MMC versus some of the previous MMCs in this series.

Love the conversational style of the writing - puts you more "in" the story than just reading about it. Note - I have listened to all of these, not read, and plan to re-listen multiple times. (blush)

Intelligent smut!

Wow. This is HOT! But more importantly, it is smartly written. I read the synopsis and was cracking up and referring to it as imaginative smut when I described it to my husband. One of my favorite pass times is to tell him crazy romance plots and watch him shake his head!

But holy crap, there was Latin, Art, and actually business knowledge (and I work in banking/insurance and have a mom with an art degree - so, I’m going with the theory, that I recognize someone with multiple skill sets…..not Catholic, so my Episcopalian self, doesn’t know jack about Latin).

I seriously loved it. Dark and tender, smutty and deep. I have seriously never wanted to meet an author more in my life!

Lord have mercy(no pun intended) this book had my panties wet😮‍💨 Besides that I did like the plot and story. I can’t wait to see what happens with her friend.

Taboo Romance

Athena is an intelligent, high-end escort. She isn't ashamed to enjoy sex and get paid for it. Gabriel is a former priest who requested her “full services,” which added another level of taboo. There were spicy scenes, which made for an entertaining read. However, it’s a very unrealistic story about a sex worker.
